83% in one day: subsidy is a means, not a strategy
On 29 September, AanZET reopened with €119.2 million for zero-emission trucks. One day later, €98.7 million had already been requested. That is good news, as long as the subsidy finances a plan instead of replacing one.

From need to request: how a structured electrification tender works
Many electrification delays are caused not by a lack of technology but by complex sourcing: unclear specifications, many vendors and proposals that can’t be compared. A structured process fixes that. Here is how it works, step by step.

Electrification is not a technology problem. It is a market problem.
The trucks exist. The chargers exist. The capital exists. Yet execution is slow. What is missing is not technology but a market that makes it easy to find, compare and contract the right partners.

Logistics real estate is becoming energy infrastructure
Warehouses, factories and distribution centres are where electric trucks charge. That puts landlords, developers and investors at the heart of the transition, if they are willing to step up. Field notes from PROVADA 2026.

Why every supply chain organisation needs a Chief Energy Officer
Electric trucks turn logistics companies into energy companies, whether they like it or not. Organisations that treat energy as a strategic capability, not a utility bill, will scale fastest.

Finance the system, not the truck: four lessons on financing electrification
Financing electric fleets the way we financed diesel trucks doesn’t work. Four lessons from our session on financing electrification with F&L, Smart Freight Centre and D2XCEL.
-
From policy to execution: cities as orchestrators of zero-emission logistics
Zero-emission zones and CSRD create urgency. But policy alone does not electrify a single truck. Cities that act as orchestrators, not only as regulators, will see zero-emission logistics arrive faster.

Shippers set the pace: why waiting for carriers is not a strategy
The trigger for electrification rarely starts inside a transport company. It comes down the supply chain from shippers and forwarders. That gives them more influence, and more responsibility, than most of them use today.
-
Start smart, scale fast: how to go faster by taking the first steps more carefully
Thinking big and starting small is not the problem. Starting in the wrong place is. Four questions every electrification journey has to answer before the first order is signed.

Fleet electrification doesn’t start with the truck
Why successful fleet electrification starts with operational requirements, organisational readiness, infrastructure and finance – long before vehicle selection.
